Assistant Manager, Business Development

Responsibilities:
• Assist supervisor in screening potential business deals by analyzing market trends, marketing strategies, business potentials, deal requirements, financials and evaluating options.
• Assist in closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Support the planning and organizing global conferences, language programmes, diploma and bachelor, graduate studies and executive programmes in the region.
• Assist in building and enhancing international institution’s network to achieve division targets.
• Assist in exploring new business in new markets through market research and international networking.
• Assist supervisor and Director in any projects or tasks in relation to Division goals and objectives.

Working Hours:
Mon to Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary:
$2500 to $3500 (based on experience / qualification)
Requirements:
• Minimum degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, including 3 years of experience in business development or international marketing.
• Conversant with the higher education industry and knowledge of the overseas education market is essential.
• Strong business development or marketing competency especially in international context.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Good ability in leadership, networking, teamwork and problem-solving.
• Meticulous, analytical and self-driven.
• Able to think strategically and work in collaboration with others to achieve goals.
• Able to “think out of the box” in identifying problems and implementing solutions.
• Work well under pressure, well organized and with strong attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
• Willing to work flexibly in dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Able to travel extensively.
