- I am a Year 2 Physics student from NTU, offering home tuition to primary, secondary school students and Chinese lessons at any level. I am a Nanyang Scholarship recipient and have GPA 5.0/5.0. I graduated with a Diploma in Applied Chemistry with Pharmaceutical Science (With Merit) from Singapore Polytechnic in 2016. Final GPA 3.955/4.00. I was awarded the Director's Honor Roll for my course for 2013-2014 and 2015-2016.
- I have 3 years of teaching experiences. I specialize in teaching students who may encounter difficulties understanding concepts in maths, science, as I have very solid concepts in science. My students were encouraged to learn the concepts in maths, chemistry, and physics for understanding. My focus is not on taking examinations but to intrigue them to see the beauty of these subjects and they began to love the subjects themselves. This is more effective way of learning. Without excess exercises, my students will be able to understand science and maths better and began to love these subjects. Based on feedbacks received in the past, students were able to grasp the concepts in science more easily and solve problems themselves with confidence.
- I have plenty of experiences in teaching language. I taught O Level English for two years and Chinese for 1 year. Although English was not my native language, it took me only a year to prepare for O Level and scored A1 in O Level English. In Polytechnic, I scored As for English language modules like report writing, communication module. I know how to learn a language efficiently and improve in a short amount of time.
- I am very passionate in tutoring students and will be responsible for the student's learning. I will try to discuss, if possible, with the parents about the student's progress at the end of every session, how the parents are able to help in their children's learning. I try my best to help the student gain interest and confidence in the subjects
